Everyone is fighting for your attention, including us. That’s why we offer clear thinking for brands.
No wishy-washy stuff. No clutter getting in the way. After all, the world is a noisy place — if you cut through visually, you’ll have a much higher chance of growing a memorable and recognisable brand. We distil your values into full-strength ideas to inspire more people, spark greater interest in your business, and bring about positive results.
How do we define the things that set you apart? How do we use design to grow awareness of your brand? We have many ways, but we always establish a shared vision first.
Our approach to strategic and creative thinking is a powerful mix, embraced by the many businesses we work with. From pudding people to skincare experts, social enterprises to Formula One World Champions, each has a unique story to tell. We’d love to hear yours.
With a deep understanding of your business, we set clear targets and strategic directions. We research it. We write it. We distil it.
Full visual systems with guidelines. Standalone symbols with visual clout. Creatively applied across all media.
Standout ideas. Brand hierarchy. Range architecture. Delivered with bags full of experience.
Brand name creation. Product naming. And every bit of word wizardry along the way.
Graphic design. Photography. Film. Moving Image. Whatever it takes to bring an agreed idea to life.
Interior Graphics. Wayfinding. Point-of-sale. Often designed as part of a wider branding project.
Our network includes print gurus, structural packaging magicians, and large-format print giants.
With your branding ready to fly, we’ll introduce you to the most suitable digital designers and developers.
Neil Hedger and Fiona Curran, strategic thinkers and designers in equal measure. Before Distil Studio, we worked in some of the most demanding creative agencies in London. This was the rocket fuel we needed to start our own award-winning design studio in 2010. Beyond pencils and paper, one of us owns too many guitars, the other likes their music seriously loud. It’s a combination that works well.
D&AD, Clios, FAB, New York Festivals. Between us, we’ve won (and judged) them all. At Distil Studio, Neil and Fiona are proud owners of D&AD Wood, Graphite and Yellow pencils. We recently scooped 2 Silvers, 2 Golds and a Best of Show at the FAB Awards. But nothing beats Fiona’s first swimming badge.
